Who is Roaming Rosie, you ask? My real name is Rosemary and I’m a writer and an artist living with my husband and my cat, Charis, an adorable chocolate-colored Ocicat. We’re in a bit of a transition right now as we’ve just moved from Maryland to Florida, my husband is about to medically retire from the Army, and I’m pregnant with our first child.
We both grew up in Florida, so it’s home to us. We’re excited about moving back here to start our new life among civilians. :) I’m excited about the pregnancy and about researching all the aspects of Mommyhood from health issues to cool toys, and in the meantime we’re trying to find a home and looking forward to moving in, hopefully before Christmas.
My hobbies (since you’ll be reading about them) include traveling, writing, reading, cooking, baking, photography, home decorating and design, and anything that’s generally crafty or artistic.
I’ve been writing a Travelblog for years and enjoy creating designs for my Zazzle stores. I’ve also written some articles for Squidoo, but this blog is my first attempt at something much more personal.
